Watched the entire match from minute one to minute n live.. Djokovic played some OMG Oh My God Tennis. I don't remember Federer being as comprehensively white-washed since a LONG time as I did today. Djokovic literally blasted him off the court with his power hitting. I also frankly think Fed was trying to match him for pace, whereas he should have been using guile viz. a little more slicing, a little more junk..This is what has him his win record against Djoko, and this is also what got him 5-2 up in the 2nd set before he tried to overpower djoko again.
Fed's toppy one handed backhand was falling woefully short into the court at a lot of times, and Djoko was flattening it out and creating openings for himself. Djoko also was THE most faithful Golden Retriever on the court..He has some of the most outstanding balance and recovery on a dime of any modern tennis player we'd had the privilege of witnessing.
It's 4 30 am california time now,and I'm beat..Off to that bed to catch some zzz's,before tomorrow brings another busy day..
Comments and Feedback appreciated,I have a feeling there were so many expectations riding on this match that this will turn out to be a loooooong chain...

Wow! I didn't even know that match was scheduled already. I'm confused why the Murray/ Ferrer match hasn't been played. Doesn't seem fair that Djoker will have more rest before the final than the other winner.
About the match, I haven't seen it - even any highlights - so I can't comment too much yet. Looks like Djokovic was definitely not intimidated (like the good old days). Roger is beatable by the game's elite and they all know it. So now it will be tougher and tougher on the old boy.

:-)
That's why they started letting everyone know his nickname is Nole right when the announcers on TV like Brad Gilbert started calling the Joker.
