I know it takes awhile to type it out this way. But if you can come up with a shorthand or just discuss, that's cool.
I don't see Djoko winning the AO again this year. He will stumble, whether it is Raonic, or Murray or Nadal in the finals, he will stumble.
Mark, you make him sound like he's a klutz ready to trip. lol Well, we'll see. I just feel Berdych is going to take it to Nadal.
I've gotta go with my backhand hero on this one. I know Ferrer is #5 and is a squirrel. Ferrer gets big leads and then he blows them. I'm hoping Gasquet bombs him with backhand lasers. lol
Birdman is playing great. I'm going with the Bird. lol
Berdych won't take it to Nadal. Berdych will be tired from a 5 setter with Wawrinka, and will be lucky to win that one.
Hmm, perhaps you're right. Berdych can play languid tennis sometimes. But he's got the big game to rush Nadal. I like his new abbreviated serve. Kinda like Djokovic's.
Gotta also remember the courts are playing slower this year. Favors the grinders a bit. I will have to check out the new Berdych serve motion.
Yeah, Berdych starts his toss higher, no longer waist high. Both his hands are together above the waist with the cantilever action.
Thanks for the video. Interesting. May have to incorporate. Might lengthen my sore shoulder's life as I play.
Even Edberg went to abbreviated serve route. The centripetal force of doing a full windup, with that straight arm windup and huge back arch caught up to Stefan. I tried his new method and it gets kick action much, much easier.
Shoot! I already got two wrong. 1) Almagro beat Wawrinka , and 2) Lopez beat Isner. But that doesn't change that bottom draw for the quarters. 1) Berdych will still beat Almagro, and 2) Nadal will still beat Lopez.
