Sorry to hear about your shoulder, I've been nursing mine for about 3 weeks now, no serves at all til yesterday. Does it only hurt on serves? Anyway nice to see you held your own against former Cardinal player, Leila? Rest that shoulder for the summer season.
Thanks Hal and after 3weeks are you ok
yeah, much better, it hurt on ground strokes and serves, combination pinched nerve and rotator had to still teach and spar so slowly got better. I now ice for 30 minutes after playing every single time with a shoulder wrap/pack. At my age something always hurts. Nice photos by the way, new Fila classic line looks awesome.
it will go away right
yes, depends on where it hurts, you may need to some exercises to strengthen other areas of your shoulder. I had to rehab mine a few years ago and had to work on the back part of my shoulders, about a month or so of physiotherapy.
I start therapy tue
i wish i had knew  that match was happening, we would have come down to see you play.you got the fire burning and i know you have the spirit of a champion in you. let me recommend ICY HOT MAX STRENGTH ROLL ON APPLICATOR AND ONE ALEVE TO HELP with the inflamation of the rotor cup . i was thinking i needed surgey on my hip one match a week. but the ICY HOT changed all that its 3 to 4 matches a week full steam ahead. 2010 was the year of injury for me tennis elbow, insanity, hip, wrist and i was playing 3 flex leauge matches per week. tennis elbow was so bad i could only use my spin serve so i moved it around in the box to create difficulties for my opponents and pull them wide off the court. drove them crazy. looking forward to your next big match.
Thanks rino
Take it easy girl.  Nurse that injury
Definitely take it easy, you don't want to have to resort to surgery.  Look how long it has taken Sharapova to recover, and she still isn't hitting it like she used to.  Take all the precautions necessary.  Better to miss a little time than to suffer through surgery.

To all: Make sure you turn your shoulders as a unit sufficiently, so that you don't end up chasing a high forward toss and having damage to the shoulder socket. The tendons and ligaments can only stretch so much before injury occurs.

Watch how smooth Ljubicic serves. He never has to jump excessively nor chases an excessively high toss. He keeps the toss where he needs it, where he would extend and not much ball toss drop. He was the ATP ace leader at a time.

Also watch how smooth Federer is on his serve. He and Ljubicic uses a wide oval takeback and does not jerk his elbow back with a tight elbow angle. His windup arm gradually opens up the elbow angle. These are the injury free ways of hitting serves.

If you are taking back the windup on a steep vertical pathway instead of a horizontal one, this is where the danger lies.
