Fun Contest Ideas?

We'd like to have a fun contest here at Tennisopolis where the eventual winner would get a cool prize from one of our sponsors. In the past we have had a Refer-A-Friend Contest which was a lot of fun. The way it worked was, for every person that joined from your invite, you received a ticket in a drawing. We had like 2000 members join because of the contest. So, let's say you went crazy and invited 200 people from all over the internet, you had 200 tickets in the hat. And a ticket was selected, and the winner got $200.00 credit at NothingButTennis.com. We will definitely do that again, maybe now, maybe later. What do you think?

Another idea would be a photo contest or maybe a short story?? Of course we have done the tennis tournament bracket challenges which are a lot of fun. Don't miss out on those. For the US Open we gave away a new Avery tennis racquet (thanks Avery!). We'll get a sponsor for the French I think. So be ready for that.

Hi Mark,

New member here, Ashe. How about a contest that uses (USTA?) tournament entries as a way to "register" for eligible prizes, like a free trip to a professional tournament or grand slam? I'm not sure how that would benefit Tennisopolis, but it might encourage more tennis involvement, etc. as a whole. Good luck with your contests. Thanks, Ashe

Ive got an IDEA, Picture of all your members or Picture of the largest Group of Tennisopolis members in one shot. March 2nd is Tennis in america night across the US the date can be set for that. you get bonus points for stuff like being able to identify players on tennisopolis in the Picture. no photo shop a real PIC.
