Federer pulls out of the entire Asian ATP events calendar!
Spending time to heal from injuries, Federer is only confirming what the ATP players are complaining about: the grueling long tour season. Will the players strike? When will this happen?

God I hope not. If they do strike, I hope it is for the Asian season only. Of course it will have no power if they don't strike during the majors. I have no idea if it is coming, but what are there demands specifically?

I'm thinking they will strike around the Australian Open, because it gives them the most leeway. I would guess they would want to have less required number of events. Some of the pressure of defending points also weigh heavily on the top four players of the world.
They seem to have a month off if they played all the events. I need to read more about this, but Navratilova and Sampras are already on the side of the players.
