I'm gonna go for a Nadal v. Djoko final. Monaco was serving red hot but that can't happen two days in a row. And I still think Murray has a ways to go. I could be wrong, of course.

I hate to be so predictable, but I have to agree - top two seeds make it through.
Rooting for Muzzuh. How did he get that nickname anyway?
AND - who is your pick in the Doubles Final? Paes-Stepanek vs. Nestor-Mirnyi?
I've got to go with the 40 year old here. NESTOR!
Permalink Reply by Mark T. on March 30, 2012 at 12:43pm Man, hate to be the one to do this, but Rafa just pulled out with a sore left knee. Not good. This doesn't bode well for the next month or so. Hope he gets better quick. Hope Murray can beat Djoko in the finals.

Permalink Reply by Tim Prapong on March 30, 2012 at 3:41pm What?! Well, that's no good. I've been spending the last two weeks analyzing his forehand and this happens. I must've jinxed him.
Well, who knows Murray may beat him. Rafa better get rested for the French is in May.
Permalink Reply by Mark T. on April 3, 2012 at 3:01pm Hey if you are jinxing people start rooting for Djoko. Forget you even know Rafa, or have seen him play.
Permalink Reply by Tim Prapong on April 3, 2012 at 4:13pm Hmm, that's hard. I really like Rafa's forehand right now. So much torque!

Permalink Reply by John Guevara on April 4, 2012 at 12:35am Hey, Tim - I'm thinking of getting some lessons. If you are the "Real Deal" I'll pay the going rate. !
What is your U.S.T.A. ranking ? Are you a member of the A.T.P. or U.S.P.T.A. ?
What U.S.T.A. tournaments have you won ? When & Where ?
Have your played any A.T.P. tournaments ? Where & When ?
Did you play college tennis ? Where & When ?
What training have you had for tennis instruction ? Can I call your coach or school ?
Do you have your own teaching court ? Where is it ? Do you have liability insurance ? What company ?
What is your policy number ? Who is your insurance agent ?
You are representing yourself to be a tennis instructor. Please answer my questions.
If you are for real, we may be able to work something out. Please provide documentable evidence.
Thank you,
John
Permalink Reply by Tim Prapong on April 4, 2012 at 1:42am Wow, alot of questions there, John. Just look at my youtube videos at youtube.com/felinecopy. I am unconventional, but if you look at the videos, I think you see my level. If you are above my level, then I certainly wouldn't charge you. I'd pay you. Only thing is, I don't have a dime to spare. :)
I think I'm just a good guy to learn a few of the advanced things, without all of the ego and the outrageous $50+/hr. I only charge $25/hr if you're in my area. I have worked for three different coaches, including V.J. Scatliffe, the father of April Scatliffe who now plays at UC Santa Barbara.
I am not big time, an ex ATP player, ex challenger player or ex college player. I did go to Vic Braden's tennis academy for five days. But in any case, I am a tennis fan that knows alot of technical stuff. I'm laidback and a good listener at the same time, and most people like that about me. I have given lessons and I am an instructor who works under V.J. Scatliffe, who does have insurance and a permit to a single instructor court in San Bernardino.
Tell me about yourself and maybe we can meet somewhere. I am more interested in whether I can help, not really a "big bucks come first" kinda guy. If I can help you, that is what I'm interested in.
