Apparently he's earned a wildcard spot for Roland Garros this year. He's beaten Tsonga and Gaudio before but had multiple surgeries including the Tommy John.

oh here's the link from ESPN

It's Mr. Mayor's brother!

I wish!  Here's a great article that WSJ just did on Baker!  Read it - very cool!

Nope, but I see he's a comeback player on tennis.com

Yes, it was a couple of years ago.  He was one of the many that were in the running.  He is from the same group as Jessie Levine and the others of that age.

He looks like he had much promise. I want to see him play. Coach V did you get to see this guy play in Georgia?

**on another note, I hope he doesn't draw any of the top 4 in the first round.

Yeah he was number 1 in the US while I was in high school, and Robert yum or something like that was number 2. Then all the sudden they both were not making the news. I heard Brian had some bad injuries.

was that spam? Wonder why content was removed. I just hope this dude makes a good story at RG this year. I'd hate for him to face a quality opponent in his first round or face any of the top four in the second round.

That would be nice, but it's going to be hard for him to win if he's been off tour for years.

I'm sure he's thrilled to get a wild card entry. It's very tough to qualify into the grand slams.

Yeah, this is massive - hopefully he can make the most of it.
