Looking for intermediate players (NTRP 3-4ish) for regular Queen Anne casual matches

Moved to Seattle this winter and don't have any friends to play tennis with out here. Looking for intermediate players to have fun in casual matches. I'm somewhat competitive, but a good winner and a good loser - I just want to get out and play. Queen Anne area, but willing to travel a bit if necessary (Capitol Hill, Ballard, etc. - probably not Bellevue). Hit me up if interested. Thanks!

My name is Dan, moved to Queen Anne about a month ago.  I would consider myself a recreational tennis player, though haven't played in quite a while.  Would love to find courts and partners in the neighborhood, I've been missing the sport.  I just joined this forum today, so still learning how to navigate.  Let me know if you'd like to play sometime.  I'm by no means competitive, but do have adequate experience.  Might take me a minute to shake the cobwebs, but it'd be fun.

Hi Andrew and Dan.  I also just joined up here a few days ago and am looking to get back on the court now that weather is (inconsistently) improving.  I just moved from QA to Greenwood, but would be more than happy to come down if need be.  Going by both your descriptions, it sounds like my experience is pretty well matched-- 3.0-3.5 probably, played since high school except for the last two years as no friends seem to play anymore, enjoy some competition but am more looking for the fun and excitement of just playing again.  Would love to hear from either (or both) of you if interested in playing soon.  Thanks!

Yeah man that sounds cool.  I spotted some courts off wallingford at 42nd a while back, looked pretty well maintained.  Also heard that david rodgers park on upper qa has decent courts.  For the time being I am a slave to the metro, but will be getting a car soon and would be fine with greenwood.

Hi Dani and whoever else wants to play,

I'm available tuesday preferably earlier in the day if the weather is nice!

Shoot, sorry guys!  My email had been filtering everything from this site as spam. :/

From Saturday on, the weather looks like it'll be great for playing.  Anybody up for Saturday AM before courts get too busy and/or Wednesday after work hours?  @Dan, I actually work just a few blocks from the Wallingford courts you mentioned and they always look gorgeous.

I can play tuesdays or wednesdays at greenlake or early mornings possibly.

Hi there! I just moved to Seattle a couple of days ago and I'd love to meet some new tennis peeps. I am a good 3.5 - 4.0 player. I like to hit hard and don't really care much for competitive play. I live in the U District area, very close to the Greenlake courts. I am also willing to commute to QA, CH, etc.

I am looking to play on a regular basis. Perhaps twice or thrice a week in the mornings?

Thanks,

Vivek
