Tennisopolis : Tennis Social Network

Need not be some kind of world beater or pro, but at least someone who can play at a competitive, fairly talented level and push each other to get better.

- sustain fast paced rallies

- serve with pace, some consistency (even the best have serve troubles at times!)
- able to use spins, volley, etc.

Basically if you play at a varsity or even college level, that would be great. I want to practice to hopefully play in the Cincinnati Met tournament this summer, if that gives an idea of the general level of play. I know it's cold, but weather doesn't matter to me that much as long as it's not like raining or snowing, so we can still play (it's been pretty nice for the most part recently, actually).

Possible locations to play, but not limited to: Juilfs Park, UT (Helicopter) park, Anderson H.S., etc (anywhere in that general area, near Beechmont Ave or within 20-25 minutes' drive)

I'm 21. I guess I'd give myself a 5 or 5.5 on the rating scale, barring rust of course. Would be nice to find someone to play at least 2-3 times a week with starting soon!

Note: To be clear, you don't have to be doing the Met at all, I just wanted to practice for it in some fashion and have some fun playing some good tennis. :P

I am a 4.5/5.0 player ..I have not played in a couple of years. I would to hit with you. # 8594204626

Hey Amine, I would to hit with you too. :) How does sometime next weekend sound, maybe?(weekend of March 31)

Hey David, I'd be willing to hit with you, I'm not a 5.0 or better but I played a few 4.0 leagues last year. I haven't played for a couple months either, but I'm left handed with a decent serve. I live about 5 minutes from the Helicopter park so let me know if you're interested. call or text 937-371-2516, thanks.   John

Hi John, nice playing with you... lol

Hey, if there's a tennisopolis moderator here, could you possibly edit my original post for me? The time limit that I can edit has run out. I didn't want the 5.5 to scare anyone off, basically, because I realized I'm definitely not actually 5.5 (which I heard is almost like an amateur pro)...maybe like 4.5 or 5 if I was playing incredibly well, but I'd play with anyone from 4.0 to 5.5 basically -- who says you can't learn a thing or two from getting annihilated in tennis?

last paragraph redacted: I'm 21. I guess I'd give myself a 4.5 on the rating scale, barring rust of course, but if there are any 5.0+ around it'd still be fun to hit. Would be nice to find someone to play at least 2-3 times a week with starting soon!

-----------Thanks in advance if you can help edit this in, or if not just delete my post so I can redo it.
