Dudley,
No apology necessary! It's not something that will happen again. So no worries. This is an issue that must be managed by professionals as we discussed last night. As the Director of Tennis at ClubSport San Ramon, I have the responsibility for managing the site. Since your note above has been posted in a public forum, it seems very appropriate to respond.
For clarity:
1. You have been informed multiple times that you are not to be in attendance at ClubSport San Ramon, by myself and other Tennis Professionals at the club. We discussed the business reasons for that policy.
2. I did not escort you from the property. I did inform you that I would call the club manager, and you offered instead to go see her on your way out. I stayed at the tennis courts.
3. Your post may have been helpful, but it did not lead to confusion. Confusion was caused when you renamed the event "Open House", and you posted it elsewhere without any permission. I am not alone when I say that I don't like to be surprised by emails and phone calls about "Open House", get questions from club staff about "Are you running an Open House?" and "I got an invite from Dudley".
You and I did have a personal conversation that should not be made part of a public forum.
This closes this issue.
Thank you,
Bill Patton
Original Post compliments of Tennisopolis:
This is a fun open house event at ClubSport San Ramon. Come by, hit some balls, meet our professionals, and make a new friend. We will do this as a FREE event, and then on future evenings a nominal fee will be charged. Come with a friend, come alone, be ready to be matched up for some doubles action. Be sure to give us your rating in the RSVP. Be sure to RSVP, or you can take your chances. Don't say we did not warn you!
