Since you've probably figured out what I'm looking for, I guess I'll move on to a little info about my location and ability.

I played competitively in high school, so I have good fundamentals regarding strokes and game play. The down side is that this was 30+ years ago. I've played off and on since then. I'd estimate my NTRP Rating currently at 3.0-3.5.

I live near Auburn Blvd. and Greenback Lane. My preferred courts, in order of preference, would be Foothill Community Park and Carmichael Park, though I'm open to other suggestions.

Let me know if you're interested.

Thanks.

hey tommietunes, I live on greenback near sunrise and would love to play sometime.I never played in high school and i have no idea what my rating is.I would prefer to play in the mornings and any of the courts listed would work great for me.my email is [edit - please share emails via PM] hope to hear from you soon

Hey rennie. If you want to figure out your rating yourself, go to http://tennisopolis.com/news/ntrp-ratings-guide

Another option (one I think I'm going to use, since the rating descriptions seem kind of vague and overlapping to me) is to take advantage of a free 1/2 hour lesson from John Spoerl.

It doesn't appear to have any obligation, and any decent pro ought to be able to assess your rating in a 1/2 hour lesson.

I'd like to get together soon. Unfortunately, right now I'm just beginning to come out from under a nasty virus I picked up last week, so it'll be a few days before I feel up to hitting the court. I'll let you know as soon as I'm ready.

Peace...

Hi,

Can you maybe hit some tennis sometime this week ? Most likely after 5pm or 6pm.

I'm trying to get more active, after being away from tennis the last extended months.

I work over near Hazel, so I do know where greenback is.

The only evenings I can play are Friday-Sunday. If any of those work, let me know.

sure  friday could work.

how about miller park friday 6:00pm ?

i am new to the area, so if you prefer manzanita, or

foothill community park, then let me know, so I can

look for them on google.

Sounds good. Do they have lights? Haven't really paid attention to what time the sun sets.

yes they have lights,  but the sun goes down around 8:30pm

OK I'll see you at miller park 6pm friday. I always wear a straw hat.

Okalee Dokalee. Hope it doesn't rain...

(Can't believe I'm saying that in June...)
