Hey Muze.
Just a heads up, we're going to do the French Open Pick-em contest, so get your brain working. You'll see the graphics on the main page soon-ish and keep an eye on this thread in the Forum. Good luck.

I am looking for someone to teach me how to play. I'm a quick learner and I'm sure I'll catch on after a few sessions. I live in Oakley/Hyde Park and there are a few public courts in the area (or whichever courts are more convenient for you, within Cinti of course ). Please let me know if u are interested, that'll be nice.
Hi Muze. I like QCRC ok. Mainly because it is practically around the corner from my house. lol... But really, it is a nice club. Lots of indoor and outdoor courts plus two racquetball/squash courts. Big workout rooom, aerobic room, and spinning. The people there seem to be nice enough. I don't know if I have anything con to say about it. I haven't really spent that much time there.
Hi Muze, Do the Miami Tournament Pick-em contest. We need about 8 more entrants to qualify in the battle-of-the-boards. It makes following the tournament more fun. And will bring more eyeballs to Tennisopolis. Gotta sign up tonight. :-)

Hi Muze! Thanks for the reply. I would love to hit some as long as you realize that I am a beginner. The instructor says I amout a 3.5. I live on the north side of Cincinnati and belong to Queen City Racquet Club. Let me know if you are interested.
Thanks for the pointers. I prefer something with a lot of feel. I tend to use a lot of spin as well and have never tried Hurrican Tour or Luxilon Alu. Really looking forward to trying them out.
I can definitely recommend some string for you but it really depends on what you are looking for in the string. Do you want feel, comfort, durability, or spin? The more durable the string the less feel typically. For a softer multi-filament string (comfort/feel) I recommend Babolat Xcel, Wilson NXT, and Tecnifibre NRG2 all are a little pricey in my opinion but nothing like gut. If you want durability I always go with the blends like Babolat's Xcel/pro hurricane tour blend or Prince Pro Blend. Spin Pro Hurricane Tour , Luxilon Alu rough, or the less expensive option Gamma Dura spin w/wear gaurd. As far as normal syn. gut I am a fan of Gamma syn gut with wear gaurd and Prince Syn gut w/duraflex

We are all very excited to have created this "community-based" tennis website which puts the focus on the members.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Join the group in your area and introduce yourself in there. Some groups have regular meeting times and some are more one-on-one and flexible. If there’s no group in your area yet, start a group page for your town and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
Tennisopolis is also a great place to network with people all across the country and talk about this game we love.
Other places to explore: come talk tennis in the forum, add your own photos, post your own blog entries.
