Tennisopolis : Tennis Social Network

We are looking for families in the Portland area that enjoy tennis to host foreign exchange students that also play tennis. Some students compete others play for fun. For example, Andrea is 16 and from Sweden. She plays tennis at a club in Stockholm, loves to dance and read novels, and has excellent grades; some of the best in her school. We are looking for active, caring families to host Andrea and students like her. Let me know if you or someone you know is interested! Jena 503-785-1219 visit www.effoundation.org for more info.

what are the skill level of these players if you don't mind me asking?

some of them play competitively and some play for fun! We don't guarantee students can continue their activities during their exchange year but we do try to match students and famillies with similar interests. And if the family is already involved with a sport or activity, it can lessen the transportation and time issues.

I can match the student to level of interest in the family!

as long as i'm not a tennis coach directly affiliated with a high school.(because i'm not) then i can specifically request the swedish tenis federation equivalent of a  US 4.0-4.5 NTRP level player? (or class A or advanced level). i might help get some of those students placed. i'm actually one who might be interested.

another question is how do you define recruiting? i kind of have an idea but i want to see if what i'm thinking matches your definition/standards
