Tennisopolis : Tennis Social Network

I am interested in learning how to play tennis and would like to start with a tennis class. I can not afford a club, does anyone know of an evening class offered in Santa Fe?

Julie ..we'll be having once a week drills out in Abiquiu. It'll be social as well with hikes, biking, cross training cookouts and other stuff. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NewMexicoOutdoor/join < We'll be alerting you thru here! Dan
Thank you for the information and I would love to part take in many of your activities. My only problem is that I work weekends so I don't know if any of it would fit into my schedule. Please keep me informed and if I can I'll come to Abiquiu. Thanks again, Julie
Julie,
My wife, Gabriela and I, have http://HighDesertTennis.com in Abiquiu. We have a very special deal til Arp 1st 2009: FREE Weekend Getaway Camp whereby you would simply pay a reasonable amt for lodging ($150)!
It's arrival Fri ..the 3 hrs of tennis on Sat and 3 hrs on Sunday before checkout! Can you get away a weekend?? Dan 505.901.7321

Im looking for a game in the santa fe area

I suggest giving John Damgard a call. He is a USTA Pro & teaches in Santa Fe and would work with you on a public court to get you started!

Hi, I realize this is an old post but I am also looking for tennis lessons myself. Can anybody recommend someone that is currently teaching in sf?

John Damgard is still teaching, also I would try Sebastian at Sangre de Cristo Racquet Club. He teaches and is  good instructor and will spend time with you. I don't think you will need to be a member!
