Federer is 21-2 since the US Open...he is the hottest player on the tour. Does this make him the favorite for the Aussie Open now? Can he regain number 1 next year?

Cool highlights I found on Youtube  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PVNSSFgy8s

good points...but Fed has won at least one major every year and I don't see that stopping over the next couple of years...Rafa is still the man to beat in my opinion but you can't count fed out and I don't see Rafa winning all four...and if I had to pick one person to pick up the trophies Rafa drops Fed is still the man...
All depends on whether or not Fed can stay healthy. He has been having problems with that during the past year and those type of issues are only going to increase as he ages. Nothing against him, I just think the toll of a two week best of 5 format is going to continue to catch up with him. His best bet is probably this up coming Aussie open. After that, I think he may have to wait for another year. The youngsters are not afraid of him any more, and are going for it more as they recognize ways to beat him.
