Try demoing various racquets you might like. http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/ has a great demo program where u can borrow up to 4 racquets for 10 dollars for a week. Also see if you can try other ppl's racquets. They also have lots of reviews on that site.

Local stores probably have demo programs too. Try calling around. They probably won't be as good of a deal, but you will get the racquets a lot faster. Also, if you want recommendations from people, I think it might be helpful if you tell them your skill level and what kind of tennis player you are (base-liner, all around, serve/volley, etc)
