Suggestion Box - how do we make the Aces better in 2010? Open forum
Hi everyone, as we come to a close of what I think was a very successful growth year for the Aces, we want to take a look at what we can do better or different in 2010 to get more players involved, more group dialogue, etc etc..Any suggestions will be welcome,,,we have had talk of starting a ladys night only, different rallys around the city to get others involved without alot of drive time..starting a doubles and singles ladder among the group..perhaps even hosting a Tennisopolis Tennis Tournament here in San Antonio among ourselves and open it up to other members around the state etc...again just ideas..speak up and get involved..cross that line..and come play!

I like the idea of having different rallies around the city so the drive time won't be as bad. My biggest deterrent on Saturday is the earliness of the event and then the drive. I also like the idea of hosting a Tennisopolis Tournament. Keep up the good work.

James, if you are able to..perhaps in your area you could host a rally..right now we are working on a Tuesday night mens doubles event..start back up when it warms up..also would like to add a womens night out...will work on the tournament with the help of some of the more knowledgeable folks on the site...

Maybe having more email updates to confirm dates of playing such as Saturdays at Rudder MIddle School. We only have two of us show up this past Saturday. I think many thought no one was going to show up because of the cold weather. That does not stop the die hard players...

Joe, an update about Saturday was sent out cancelling it due to weather...it was sent to everyone that I sent the invite too..have you confirmed your friend status with me..if not you would not have gotten since I use that list for the mailing of the weekly rally...
