Somewhat rusty 3.5 player seeks hitting partner in N. Atlanta

Hey Greg. I'm looking for a really well-matched person to play with as well. I've answered many ads and posts, and played with many guys recently who rate themselves at the 3.0 to 3.5 level. The trouble is that there's a pretty big diversity of thought on what that level means. Sometimes I'm easily able to beat the guys I meet (and I haven't been playing that seriously for too long). And there are certainly other times when I'm totally outmatched by someone I meet, and I only win 1 or 2 games! It's just impossible to know unless you try it. But I'm committed to continuing on until I find someone at just my level who likes to play often. I personally rate myself at a 3.0 level. But maybe since you're rusty, I'd be a good match to get you back to your previous level. Just let me know. For the next few weeks, I'm available days, nights & weekends.

Hi John - Thanks for your reply. Definitely agree w/ your description of how difficult it is find a well-matched partner. And the difficulty of dealing with everyone's self-rating on their skill level. But, as you say, you just have to keep trying and at least you can always learn a little bit every time you play, even if the matches themselves are a little one-sided.
