I used to be really good, but haven't held a racquet for something rediculous like 5 years (injury). I don't even know if I can hit the ball anymore. Anyway, I LOVE tennis but none of my friends play... so this is kind of a last resort!! I live in North York, but have no idea where to even start looking for courts/partners. Somebody help me out, please!
There are indoor courts near me. At Morningside and 401 area. Now I think they raised the price this year to $24 per hour of use. There are other indoors as well. I think one at McNicole and Kennedy as well. I have been looking for a partner as well to meet at least once a week to play. I am also looking to split the court rental.

Hi there!
I am in same boat as you are. Well I have been traveling on business for 6 years and so never got a chance in a while to play. I stll got my tennis gear - lol. I live in Richmond Hill ( a little north of North York) in condo. We have tennis courts here in summer. At the moment it does not make sense for me to go to Indoor as I am not good. If you are interested let me know - we can try in my bldg in spring- atleast no cost involved.
Happy New year 2009.
Dave
I play at the Bayview Village Tennis Club in North York. If you are interested in hitting sometime, let me know. The guest fee at my club is very reasonable, and, we have a great atmosphere, with plenty of people such as yourself, that are getting back into the game. Feel free to touch base if you remain interested in hitting some time.
