Relocating to Austin

I am located on Parmer and Metric in NW Austin so, we shouldn't be that far from each other. Would you like to play this Thursday, say around 4:30 5ish?

Hey there,
My husband and I are relocating to Austin at Thanksgiving (2008). I play regularly/my hubby doesn't. I'm looking for someone to play tennis with on a regular/semi-regular basis. I'm an intermediate level, can keep up with someone who hits the ball pretty darn hard. Don't like to keep score or play competitive, just hit around.

I am not familiar with courts in Austin. We are seriously looking into the Steiner Ranch area for houses, and I know they have 6 courts, but outside that...... need some suggestions.

It might be nice to meet/play with someone who is as unfamiliar with the area as I am!

Have you found a house yet?

I live and play in South Austin. I occasionally play at the South Austin Tennis Center off of 1st St & Cumberland. If you like Clay Courts - Onion Creek Country Club is about the only club in town that has them. If you like indoor courts, then the Courtyard Tennis Club is a good bet. I'm looking to find a few hitting partners. I live and work in South Austin, but wouldn't mind an occasional trip towards Steiner Ranch. I also happen to be a real estate agent. Whether or not you've found a house I'd be happy to meet and play tennis some morning. Call me at 512-299-8800 - Carlos

I'm looking for weekdays mornings or afternoon hitting partners. I am close to I35 and Wells Branch pkwy. Have courts here. But i can travel some also.
