Hi I just moved to SE Portland area not sure if you are in this area but if not I like to play at Washington Park, other courts are Portland Tennis Center, Glenhaven or Mt. Tabor Park. I would like practice rally, volley, serve and if possible practice games. If you would like to meet on the court I would be glad. I am easy going with a humor that everyone likes. I can advise on tennis also as I have taught friends and students.
Hi R?
I live close in SE in the Hawthorne area. If you would like to practice or play a set or maybe sometime mixed doubles let me know. I am married too. The Portland Tennis Center is a great place to play or take lessons all year round for a good price. They also have double mixers. By the way this weekend is the Nike Oregon Tennis Championship at Tualatin Hill Recreation Center. The finals are this Sunday morning. Top level college players and teaching pros enter from Canada and the northwest. You can watch for free in close in seats in a new outside tennis arena.
I'd be up for playing weekend mornings. It's so cold right now but I've looked into indoor court time and it's ridiculously expensive! I live in SE so maybe we could find a place to meet in the middle. Any ideas?
Hi, I haven't played much in a while. I used to play more regularly but that was 5 or 6 years ago! I'm not sure how I stack up because when I tried to play recently the other person couldn't keep it in the court. That left me frustrated and wanting to seek out some people that could hit it back in the court and make it competitive. I don't mind playing people better than me, if they can handle it. I'm pretty competitive so that just drive's me to get better. Let me know if you'd like to play sometime.
Hi R! It's great to have you here!
If you need anything, let me know.
