Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
I've played casual tennis over the years and really enjoyed it. I'd say I'm still beginner level but I can hit the ball back and forth and serve. I'd say I'm fairly athletic. I'm looking to play with someone where we can push each other to get better and kept it pretty competitive.
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
Ana Ivanovic, Serena Williams, Jo-Wilfred Tsonga, James Blake, and usually any underdogs.
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
Don't know my what my rating is., If tennis is on TV - I'm watching.
On the court, I am a:
singles player, beginner

I'm sorry for this late response! I'm going out of town this afternoon. :( Sorry. Hopefully soon? I wish there was a PM function here so I could send you my cell number -- might be more efficient than the message boards.
Hi Holly! I'm pretty much the same way...I love good competition. Hope we can play sometime! What part of PDX are you in? I'm in the Mt. Tabor area. Hoping for some sunny weather soon!
Hi Holly,
I know exactly what you mean. I end up giving lessons and chasing balls down off the court just so I can hit something back. I'd love to play. I'm available most weekend mornings and some afternoons and as the weather gets warmer with longer daylight hours, I can also meet week nights. I live in the SW but willing to drive anywhere. My closest court is Gabriel Park but when the weather is nice, you would have to be willing to wait 1/2 hour to 45 minutes for an open court (personally, I don't mind). How about you?
I haven't played in quite a few years myself but I'm pretty sure I can keep the ball in the court. : ) As far as competitive spirit goes, I'm not super hardcore competitive but I would like to start getting out and hitting with people again. You can think about it and let me know.
Hi Holly! We are all very excited to have created this "community-based" tennis social network which puts the focus on the members.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Look through the Groups or create a Group of your own and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
Tennisopolis is also a great place to network with people all across the country and talk about this game we love.
The Forum is really the hub of the online community. It’s is a fantastic place to get tips for your game, chat about the latest gear, and especially, talk about the pros.
Other places to explore:
- post youtube videos.
- add your own photos.
- write your own blog entries.
…and just hang out and meet great people.
Welcome aboard,
Nanova
