Play for fun
Hi. I am looking for people to hit around casually, perhaps play some sets. I used to play competitively throughout high school and was ranked in Northern California, but have not played much in the past few years, therefore I am quite rusty. I am looking to start playing again, and was looking for people to hit around with. I am not quite sure what my ranking would be, maybe a 3.5. I live in NW, and am available most of the time right now. So if anybody would like to meet up, respond and we can set something up.

Where in NW are you at/where to you like to play. I work in NW and live in NoPo by The University of Portland. Sounds like were kinda in the same boat, decent players that are a bit rusty, although I was never ranked so you have me there. After work (Around 5:30-6) or weekends works for me and I'm down with just trading some shots and if we feel like a couple sets so be it. Let me know if you wanna set something up.

Sorry it took me so long to respond to this. I just started a new job and have been crazy busy. I live on NW 25th, and there is a public tennis court in Wallace Park, on 25th and Raleigh that would probably be the best bet. It is also the easiest to get to in this area, unless you know of one better. I am available this week on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday anytime. I work too late on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. So if you are available and want to set something up, let me know.

I've never been to Wallace Park, but it is really close to my work, truth is I haven't played at any courts in NW so that one sounds fine by me. Do you want to set something up for Wednesday? 5:30? I am in a similar position in terms of being rusty but have a feeling both of you would slaughter me on the court. Even so, I'm interested in getting back some of the skills I've lost. I am self-employed with a flexible schedule. I live in NE. Send me a note if you're interested in setting up a time to play.

Like the profile pic, I wouldn't be so sure about the slaughtering, I have probably lost more skill than I think I have, it's been a while. Anyway I would love to set something up. After work around 5:30-6:00 M-F works best for me. I bike from North Portland to the Pearl for work so somewhere close to my route would be best for me, Irving Park or the Portland Tennis Center would be fine. I would be interested in playing. I played in high school (about 8 years ago) and have played off and on since. I can play fairly well, but I am very inconsistent. I just moved here and I am staying in NW. I don't have a job yet - so I have lots of free time!

Hi guys. I would really like to play some casual tennis. I am new to town and devoid of a hitting partner. I can play fairly well, never played competitively, but I can serve rather well and am athletic... so I am fun to play with.

I also live in SE, and am new to town. I think I'm probably on your level though I'm better at volleying than serving. I like to run around, though. All I've been playing lately is Wii tennis, which is just not the same. Also have no job and a wide open schedule. It would be great to find somewhere nearby to hit around.
