"High Performance Team Practices," by Jason Lampione

Dear Parents/Juniors,

If your a junior player that either has a ranking in the sectional or national standings of the U.S.T.A. or your an aspiring tournament player or even a high school varsity player, then this may be for you. I've decided to recruit and organize a "high performance team practice," that encompasses players of all levels in a competitive format that will allow him/her to participate in a elimination round robin format. The top positions that include 1st, 2nd and 3rd singles along with 1st, 2nd and 3rd doubles respectively will be selected to join an elite group for a "tournament travel team." The area of concentration will be both the U.S.T.A. Middlestates and Eastern sections. Each player will receive one-on-one coaching as well as group coaching to help both their singles and doubles games. You'll learn everything from court-strategy to mental preparation and nutrition to name just a few. This would be a year-to-year commitment, and you'll be expected to compete on all levels from one singles and one doubles tournament per month to monitor progression both individually and amongst your peers. I will personally guide you through each stage of development and you'll receive the best coaching and guidance in the process.

This is a great opportunity for those that are serious about their game and want to be a successful player. I will be handing out progress reports to parents so that they can also track and monitor your progress as well. The course out-line is being develop as we speak, and for those that have any questions regarding this wonderful opportunity, you may contact me at anytime. The best way to contact me directly is via email at jlampione@ayhoo.com or you may leave a message in this posted forum. I look forward to meeting you all.

Sincerely,

Jason Lampione.

Hi Jason,

Great idea- unfortunately, we live in the Southern section and can't participate but several parents and I are trying to set up something similar here. Would you be willing to help us get started i.e. ideas, suggestions, things that work?

thanks,
