Djoko's motion is open platform, just like Becker's, right foot more parallel to the baseline. Try that one and see if you like that. You like to jump upwards like them. I do too. The pinpoint freezes the trunk more, with the lead hip into the court. That is for someone who likes to sway into the court, like a surfer.

I've tried both your way and his. His kick is gonna get on top of the returner and will go through quicker. Your kick is gonna have more twisting and sideways action. That is all due to the stance (weight transfer) and what body part you decide to coil.

That's just too easy to see his is a pinpoint and yours is a platform. There's a great thread by this user "Tricky" on TW forum board. He explains everything even better than me. I'll have to locate the thread and will shoot the URL up here.

How do you see all these little things and not big things like he moves he's back foot to get under it and I stay on my back as long as I can and leave it infront of me?/

Your arms are more together, up and down than his. He uses a slight scissors, toss arm up first. That's the first change in timing.

You stand far more sideways than he does. Stand open like he does, and try to lag the hitting arm. It's gonna screw your timing, because the coil you get from your regular stance is gone once you stand open. But the coil is MORE in the shoulders and pinpointing trunk and leg, and LESS in the back and abs like your regular serve

The scissors arm motion and the big pinpoint forwards motion will create the kick you want. All your weight is going forward while you are hitting upwards. This is what I've been experimenting with myself with the Djoko serve motion. The kick doesn't sit up as much, but jumps forward at the returner with a lot of weight. My back and abs physically are weak compared to my flexible shoulders and legs. You have the eight pack abs. I don't. lol

But I'd say Isner backswings across slightly more. Your partner goes up into trophy a little faster.

I see it now. It is a front leg weight load, forward toss lift into the court, across the body backswing, full lean in spring. It's definitely like the Isner serve.
