There is a problem with circular wrist flexion with an open faced style forehand. It is a bit more risky, having less spin and net clearance than a closed faced style. Watch the second forehand to come at 1:16.

She has a high amount of wrist flexion in her forehand swing, similar to the Sharapova style. Watch how her wrist lays back in a full circle. Definitely can be seen in this video clearly.
I have seen Abigail play on a few occasions as we traveled to tournaments with our group. It looks like she is winning way more than a 12 yr old should. I checked her stats on www.coretennis.net and the winning percentage is off the charts against kids who are 2-6 yrs older than her. I cannot pinpoint what exactly makes her a winner and would like some input that I can use when teaching my group of kids. I have about 8 kids who work their butts off and I need to figure out how to take them to the next level. Thank you everyone.
