As I stated in my other comment, I challenge you to come to San Bernardino and play me a match. We'll see who has the better backhand.
As I stated in my other comment: You assume that I do not possess a good backhand. You could not be further from the truth. Be careful when you assume. Let me spell it out for you: You may make an ASS-U-ME. In this case, more U than ME.
To set the record straight: the two-racket game not only affords the player, two forehands, but also two backhands as well. In addition to playing two-racket tennis, I play the conventional one-racket game. As a lefthander, I play with a one-hand backhand, both powerful and accurate. As a righthander, I prefer a two-hand backhand, also formidable. Years ago, I was a champion racquetball and paddleball player, using the traditional one racket. So again, be careful when you assume. You may end up being taken to school by the professor.
If two racquet tennis is all a physics professor can reinvent with standard tennis, then I have to go along with it? Apparently, you don't have a master's in poetry, haha. I surely can invent something else.
No, personally, I could do that two racquet tennis toss bit without a problem. But my backhand is something I do not want to get rid of. It is too pretty and powerful to be replaced by two forehands. :)
I will have to disagree with both of you as you have yet to try it. I have no difficulty hitting a powerful and accurate serve using this method and my groundstrokes are equally forceful and crisp from both sides. Apparently, neither one of you are physics professors.
Agree with Tim. Tossing with one racket and hitting the serve with the other looks awkward. Good ground stroke follow through would also be clumsy.
I don't think it looks very good tossing the ball with the other racquet. LOL!
Hello, I’m Prof. Don R. Mueller (aka the "Two Racket Guy"). I play an exciting form of tennis called Two-Racket Tennis. The two-racket game, unlike its one-racket counterpart, is truly a full-body workout as both sides of the body are utilized in a balanced way to play the game.
