The way his body is set up, it is a pretty much foolproof way of serving. Get all the dimensions right and time the ball, and the serve will go in repeatedly.

I really like this serve motion. I've been able to get 75 percent first serves in!

Palm is facing down (racquet face as well) before trophy leading up to the trophy position.

The "palm down technique" which Vic Braden promoted and used earlier by Roscoe Tanner. Rapid fire pronation.
