toss a little more to the right so you can move into the ball....using the pause button here poorly...I stop the video at the point of contact....it looks like you are crunching to the left with your abs.......the finish will be like touching you toes not your left knee.....

Ah, I did try this serve with an Aussie forehand grip yesterday. It is true, you get more power because the contact is more square to the ball. I didn't record it though. They were faster than this one with that Aussie backhand grip. But I like the potential for spin here and this serve is easy to get that spin.

Four months ago, I was doing Becker motion, Aussie forehand grip, open stance with my right foot out to the right. I was getting alot of aces down the T off the ad side as well as deuce. My flat serves would skid like no tomorrow.

The only reason I went away from that trusted Becker motion is that I was not getting enough kick. I changed my grip to continental or backhand Aussie, tossing it at 12. But now that you showed me Aussie forehand for the kick and toss at 1, and I see it really does kick the ball, who knows. I did like that Becker motion. I'll record it next time.

New Tip: for you.....Try using more of a Forehand Grip for Power.....don't worry about the spin. the Backhand Continental Grip i see is a Little harder to do if you are not 6'2" think more open stance Hitting especially for the advantage side.
