Dmitrov has been disappointing. His forehand doesn't have the sling that Fed has, neither does his serve. Neither one shot goes through the court fast as Fed's serve or forehand. Yet Dmitrov places his shots as if his forehand were the killing machine it isn't. lol
Murray has much less time to execute shots with Fed than with Dmitrov. So I think that using Dmitrov in place of Fed is faulty. Plus, Fed is alot more wily with his court placements.
No, I guess Fed didn't have his wheels after Del Potro. Guess that's age for ya. :)
