All the marks of being talented and knowing it. He doesn't show that he's under pressure because he thinks his talent will win out in the end. Federer has that self belief.

Yeah, he still gets alot of bite on the slice because he is really sliding the racquet face through, even without the buttcap pointed beforehand.

Hmm, don't you think that his head position, cocked to one side, is because he looks at the ball predominantly with his left eye.  It looks like he's doing what Fed does with the backhand, look predominantly with his right eye. Maybe his coach told him never to look down during the serve motion, so that's what he came up with. haha!

Well, if there is an injury there in the neck, then he can't turn his neck to his left as well as before? I feel sorry for his spine nonetheless. Cocking the head must bend the spine as well. I would hate to have a bad disc in my neck!

What I noticed most in this video is how relaxed he is. It is 6-4, 5-4 in what looks to be a pretty important junior match.  And he is smiling and chuckling to his crew on the side lines.

... and he should wear hats more.

a lot of byte on that slice, not really showing the flashlite on either side, so displaying only moderate wrist action back then (cracking the whip ), watching his serve makes my neck feel strained...he tilts it for his lightening quick delivery, my guess is he had a prior injury and his neck flexibility is less ..he might put it into that crooked position to alleviate pain..as replicating that would generate a lot of pain to us mortals..his bag of tricks and creative thinking are fun to watch, albeit still green at times...

Also, the strange slice backhand. Some things never change.

Still got that weird serve that Bart Wallace likes. Just kidding, Bart!
