I wish I had the back view for the first one. That kick serve got up! For all the haters that say my toss is too far back, this is how I go T with the same toss

Toss is in the same spot, but the way I can tell where you're going is how you tilt your head more upwards for the kicker, and how you turn your head more open for the down the T. It is very slight, but I can tell. I don't really watch where the toss is, but watch the server's body language.

The toss is more less in the same spot?

I definitely agree that kick serves hit 2/3rds of the way into the box is best. Whenever I hit it that far, the tighter the spin I put, the higher it reaches over the shoulders of the returner. I have been able to hit it more than a racquet's length over the shoulders on occasion.

John, your motion is nice and fast so it would be very hard to react to the disguise. I'd have to take a chance one way or the other to put pressure on this type of serving. Not an easy task.

Good kick serves drop short in the box. (I aim 2/3 of the way up the singles line) this location was pretty good.

I wish I hit a hook "body" serve for the third one, but its a lot like the second serve in a different location.

When I fiinally made the 5.0 around here the director of gold river racquet club told me I needed some variety... this kick serve is still kinda new but I am becoming a believer. My doubles partner is 90% kick and its sick!

Notice the first serve speeds up AFTER it hits the ground (real kick serve)

Notice the same ball toss for both.

Run dartfish (or whatever you guys use for film-over-film analysis) and tell me thee differences =)

Please, honest opinions but be nice bc these serves travel baseline-to-baseline in 4 thenths of a second
