Yes the core. but the core is the part of the big kinetic chain.. im showing the biggest kinetic chain i know how in this video. Most tennis players don't use the giant one like i do. they use mostly a shorter version that they can create with their arms. The Bigger one need more time to set up for and more time to do. if you watch this video Chang....you will see that not only do i swing at the ball but the back swing is huge as well. the back swing is the creator of the kinetic energy charge. the bigger and faster the back swing should = the swing / hitting swing (follow thorough) of the Shot as well. at first there will be no control, you must learn control through practice. The faster you go the better the shot and more control.

the forehands & Backhands Compliment each other. i will show you in another video with beginners between 5 - 9 years old. you will see them do technique perfectly, but no control.
Interesting way of putting it. Most people think of this for their backhands but not the forehand.
