I have another question, i know age is a factor in the ratings also, and my understanding is the turning point is age 42.  is this correct?

I would say high 4.0, low 4.5. Your friend, Sim, is playing on a 4.0 team with guys that play that level, some a little better. I went to a practice and saw how they were playing.

this is probably one of the best matches i've played.  i'm 42, and my opponent is 60.  what would our rating be now in the USA as a point of reference for my students here
