2 handed backhand Instruction article from Tennis.com (note bullet 4).

"The thing you should take away from this frame is that when Nalbandian has driven through the ball, his left arm has come through fully extended as if he has just hit a lefty forehand. You won’t find a better example of a player driving through the ball on a twohanded backhand."

I don't mean to be a jerk about anything, but I firmly believe that people should get true information and hitting through the backhand is something that every pro does.

The video says "hit through the ball after contact" ...you would tell a beginner not to do that? Don't think about this video too much. Its just making sure that people follow through. Its not meant for advance players or to be analyzed in an advanced way. I would never tell a beginner to stop their swing after they hit, I would tell them to follow through. I think you would too.

NO it's not a joke! I know what you mean, but, a beginner doesn't! If i'm gonna hit THRIUGH a payne of glass i'm gonna break it. A beginner is gonna take that and slap the ball, then bring the racquet up!! Watch the pros! they push up on the backhand with a windsheild wiper motion! Check out hi-tech tennis .com and you'll see what i mean!
