to Joe..... thats why i changed my service motion in the first place.......by keeping it simple i can be more consistent. its easier, and if it goes off i can fix it easier/faster.

Hmm, you might be on to something there, CoachV.  I'll try that.  My timing is not the greatest during my serves, and I'm not absolutely confident I'm actually hitting the ball with full extension.  Maybe this technique will help me learn that, because it's one less thing I have to coordinate.

Oh that not my service motion here...I was practicing a new trick....I also take my racquet up first then toss to start my serve.

I was curious as to why the the two older boys use such a pronounced take back then toss, compared to your serve motion.

wow i didnt know who Jay was..... i wasnt even playing tennis at the time of his career-high singles ranking of world # 7 in April 1990.... i started playing tennis in the summer of 1991 and didnt get really started until 1992. first racquet that i owned was in 1992.
