Dear Geo: Firts of all : sorry for my english : it´s my poor english studied in the public school.
Yes, I´m on the left. In the center is Fernando Gonzalez (Gonzo like many people call him) a chilean player, in the past year come to Buenos Aires and the coach of my son arrange one day to training with him. On the right is my son, Ezequiel. He is now rank around 1300 in the ATP ranking. He was training also with Gaudio, Zabaleta, Acasusso, Chela, Calleri and other pro players. You could see more photos of my son in my page.
Now , he is training with Gabriel Markus, ex argentinian pro player, the only argentinian to beat the great pistol Pete.
Thks for your invitation but the travel to San Francisco is now only an idea and if I go I will go with my wife.
We keep in touch and again thks.
Regards
Jorge
My friend was Uruguay Davis Cup Diego Figueredo. He is around 50 now. Is that you the lefty or your son? Stay in touch, you can
stay with us informally in San Francisco Jorge.
I had an athletic (tennis) scholarship at Pepperdine University
in LA 1962-4. My roomate was Robert Lansdorp, coach of
Sharapova, Myaskina, Tracy Austin, Davenport and a little
Pete Sampras. I got him his first pro job :-> How is that for
name dropping? geospg@sbcglobal.net
Jorge, shades of Vilas and Gabby :-> I will arrange to talk with you on Yahoo I/M one of these days and you are welcome to stay with us in the Bay Area. I will send you pictures.
We can arrange a time via emails to I/M chat in text or voice :->
Have a friend ex-Uruguay Davis Cup and lovely private tennis
court around the corner from my SF home.
Hi Jorge.
Just a heads up, we're going to do the French Open Pick-em contest, so get your brain working. You'll see the graphics on the main page soon-ish and keep an eye on this thread in the Forum. Good luck.

Hi Jorge! It's great to have you here! Start a group for Buenos Aires!
This is my *new* generic welcome message that, fortunately, is required due to the enormous growth. We're growing by 100 new members a day, and I just couldn't keep up. But that's a good thing. ;-)
Invite your friends too. We’re trying to reach 20,000 members by Wimbledon. :-)
If you need any help, let me know.

You just joined a super fun and infectious "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.

Yes, I started this website.
Great photo. Is that you with your son and Gonzo?
Here's a link to start a Buenos Aires Group or Argentine Tennisplayers Group.
Keep us posted on how your son is doing. Is he playing Challenger level?

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Look through the Groups or create a Group of your own and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
Here’s a primer on how to meet other players.
The Forum is really the hub of the online community. Other places to explore: post youtube videos, add your own photos, write your own blog.
…and just hang out and meet great people.
Welcome aboard,
Mark
