This week, I only got to play two out of three of my leagues due to Yom Kippur that fell on Monday evening.

Singles went quite well last week. One thing my hubby has always noted about my game is that I'm not aggressive enough. I definitely try to play pretty safe to make sure my shots are consistent, but that also means fewer winners and longer rallies. But last week, I tried to step it up a bit, with a goal to not be the last court still playing the match, like I usually am. And everything worked out quite well. I won both sets, and was done within an hour and 10 minutes. My usual matches go well over the hour and half scheduled, so this was an improvement time wise. And I only had 3 double faults the entire match!

Mixed doubles also improved this week. My hubby got me to be more aggressive at the net, and although I didn't have to apply that very much, due to our opponents keeping the ball well away from the net person, I did feel more confident. Although we did both sets, I still feel like we made some vast improvements over the previous week, and are heading in the right direction.
