The former top 10 player, Paradorn Srichaphan is apparently still looking to return to tennis after leaving tennis more than 2 years ago due to a wrist injury.

Wildly popular in Asia, the Thai player was a promising player with character and game. A serious wrist injury however stalled Paradorn's career in 2007 and he hasn't played a tournament since.

Most have written him off after he married a former Miss Universe, headed into Asian television, and opened an Italian restaurant. What more does this guy need? Well apparently he still needs the competitive tennis world. Paradorn is 30 though now, he's not getting any younger, and the top 10 is ultra deep. Sure he has protected ranking, but could a 30 year old come back with this ladder of pros and make a dent? Maybe, but probably not. Too bad, because Paradorn was good for tennis, good for tennis in Asia, and fun to watch on court. The tennis world is moving fast though, we are in a period of evolution and super talent. Paradorn may be in for a surprise upon his return, and struggle to see top 30.

This is of course assuming he actually does come back to competitive tennis...Which I'm not going to rest any chips on.
