Nadal was not feeling well during this match, but Davydenko closed this out with little sympathy. He produced accurate shots and took over the match being down a break from the start. Nadal narrowly escaped being bageled again in the second set, but it was all Nikolai's way. No Fed/Nadal final in Doha this year!

Davy has the game to punish Nadal with. He hits THRU the ball very hard and can just dive into all the Nadal top early and pin him to the corners or angle him wide, then back the other side.

Rog is going to have his hands full, if he stays back.

Factoid:  Did you know...  that Davydenko has beaten Nadal in the last 4 matchups, and the last 5 out of 6?  Nadal said he was feeling sick, but those stats don't lie.

On the other hand, Fed owns Davy, so Roger should be sending Davy a big new year's present.
