Customisation and Paint Jobs (join my group)

Tried the customised route and it works for me on a head LM radical and i.radical (strung weight 318g) I added an extra grip (15g) and lead top of handle (20g) and lead at 10 & 2 (10g) Total weight 363g, and 8 pts head light. These IMO are the best rackets to customise (the radicals) they are great rackets that need a bit of ooomph.

I think its interesting to customise and see how it affects your game and I have definately come out of it a better player. I know exactly what I am looking for in a racket, weight, SW, flex, balance, grip, strings. that suits my game and swing style and that makes me confident. Also it stops me getting carried away wanting a new racket with a new PJ thinking it has special powers. Also my racket weighting has lead me to the conclusion that my stock Rebel 95 fits all that i want without customisation and this racket for some reason just does that little bit more than my Head rackets in all departments.

PJ of the day......Murray's new Youtek Radical Pro (above), here he is testing the balance points of his old and new rackets, of course there the same, they are the same racket! Prestige Pro.
We know this mainly cos of the headsize its 98" and not 100" and 16x19 string pattern, not 18x20.

What are your thoughts on paint jobs? Do you think the players should show what they are actually playing with? Do you think the manufacturers are misleading us by trying to get us to buy for example Roddicks Pure Drive Roddick GT with cortex when he really uses a PD+ without cortex which is much cheaper? Does anyone out there actually play with the racket that has the right PJ?
Monfils is one (customised Rebel 95) he previously played with a PJ version of a Head pc600. Anyone else in the top 20?.....these are just my opinions, not necessarily fact.
