The sense of humour probably came from spending way too many hours sitting in front of the TV in university flats drinking and poking fun at everyone when we should have been at class as well as backpacking around most of Europe and various other parts of the world with next to no money. I have also read a lot of Bill Simmons work on espn.com and love the way the guy writes things from a fans perspective, makes whatever he is writing about more fun to follow and doesn't follow any rules ... me in a nutshell.

I have just started up my site - maybe a few weeks old - as I found I was going mildly insane just coaching and needed a creative outlet apart from getting in pointless arguments at bars on Saturday nights. Someone finally gave me a kick in the arse and told me to do it, and bingo, a site was born.

Where to from here, who knows, but I'd be one happy man if it lead me in the direction of SW19 and covering Wimbledon sitting on Henman hill with a beer in my hand. I'd do that for free, but if I could somehow get paid for it, well, you'd never hear a complaint from me ever again.
