Linz Wild Card for Jelena Dokic

According to Austrian and Serbian Press, the "Generali Ladies Linz" organizers decided to give Wild Card to Jelena Dokic.

Jelena won 3 ITF events this year, Florence, Caserta and Darmstadt, and moved to 181 postion on WTA rankings. The organizers want to help her win some new points and move even higher on the list.

In 2001. Jelena was in final of this tournament where she lost from Lindsay Davenport.

"I was always impresed by Jelena's game. For me it's amazing how she returns step by step. I hope that with this gesture, we can help her to successfully comeback." said Sandra Reichel, the tournament director.
