Hi, new to the area, former college-level player, more of a 4.5 (a bit rusty) looking for regular hitting partners - I live in Ballard.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Hey "Shining",

Welcome to Seattle, when you mentioned the Rochester Tennis Connection was that regarding where you came from or something local to Seattle?

So, it sounds like you are out of my league, but if you can't find someone at your level and are dying to get out there I'm definitely up for hitting or playing games. I'm guessing I'm more in line with 3.0/3.5, but have been playing singles and doubles for the last couple of months at least a couple of times a week and lately almost every day for the last few weeks. Currently I'm not working so I'm available anytime (mornings, afternoon, or evening), though most mornings I'm at Woodland park courts playing doubles or singles. If you're interested in coming down in the mornings we sometimes need a fourth, just let me know. Anyway, singles, doubles or whatever, give me a shout if you're open to playing someone not as good but really passionate and willing to push the envelope. ;-).

Hi! Welcome to the "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you. We created this place in December and it has been a wild ride ever since - we've gone viral and now we're "almost famous".

What can you do here?
At Tennisopolis, you can:
- meet other players. Here's a primer on how to find partners.
- join a Group. Members have started over 190 Local Groups (and other types of Groups too.) Search for one in your area, or start your own.
- follow the pros. There are over 500 blog posts on Tennisopolis. Have a good read, or write your own.
- improve your game. Get tips in the Forum and check out video lessons.
- post your own Videos or embed your favorites from youtube.
- add your own Photos.
- and just hang out and connect with great people.

To get started, please upload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.

Thanks to everyone inviting their friends, we now have over 12,700 members and we're growing by 90 new members a day. Invite yours too!

If you need any help, let me know.

I'm new to the area and always looking for good players to hit with. I'm a consistent 4.5 player; 5.0 on a good day.

For those also new to the area, Rochester Tennis Connection seems to have some good group play for all levels. I've slowly been meeting the tennis players in the area
