Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
I like doing outdoors activities. I am originally from Virginia, spent a few years in Seattle, and recently moved down here to Portland. I am 29, and like to play tennis for fun. I have not played on a regular basis for quite some time. I would like to get out and play more frequently. As far as the questions below, I like to go out and have fun. I am not afraid to keep score, if you beat me I hope to learn something from it, and if I win, maybe you can challenge me again sometime. I am mostly laid back, but try to give it my all, which could definitely vary depending on the challenges of said day or week.
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
Not bad.
On the court, I am a:
doubles partner, singles player, serve-n-volleyer
Relationship status:
Single

Joined the group recently, looking for people to hit with in the area. I used to be pretty good but haven't played for many years so getting back into it. I'm 32, also playing for fun/casual but looking to improve and try to play more regularly this year - esp. since we typically only get 1/2 the year to play here in the NW. If interested let me know what part of town you're in and what days/times may work for you. Thx, Gabe
Hi Sarah! It's great to have you here! I'm sure you can find someone with similar ability here. We already have a Portland Group, join that to meet people in your area.

We are all very excited to have created this "community-based" tennis social network which puts the focus on the members.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.

The Forum is really the hub of the online community. It’s is a fantastic place to get tips for your game, chat about the latest gear, and especially, talk about the pros.

…and just hang out and meet great people.
Welcome aboard,
