Dunlop Revelation is a decent racquet. I had the black and purple one. A little low on power though. NTour is okay too, the orange one that Henin used. But 2010 had some real winners as far as tweeners go. I also recommend the Babolat Pure Storm Tour (GT version). Another very good tweener at around 11.5 oz. unstrung.
There is a very good deal on ebay for a Gamma G325 right now. The guy has 5 of these racquets for $55 each. These were my doubles sticks, and were also great for singles. I highly recommend this racquet. I had 5 of these.
Demo the ones I mentioned. Each one is a little different of course. I only know so much because I've demoed many, many racquets.
Yeah, it is hard to get grooved when you're doing drop in doubles. Maybe doubles is steering you towards a lighter frame as well. But I keep two racquets lighter for doubles, then my other ones are heavier for singles.
Maybe you can find a Wilson KBlade used off of Tennis Warehouse forum classifieds board. That is a popular Wilson of two years ago, which has alot of power yet has a decent amount of control. Also look on ebay. I've bought dozens of racquets cheap from there.
But if you plan on playing much, and you want 11.3, I think that Wilson Pro Tour, Dunlop 4D 300 Tour, or Head Youtek Prestige Midplus will suit you. Just string it around 59 with a soft string like Kirschbaum Pro Line 2 or Genesis Typhoon. Those are all good tweener racquets, not tour weight, but not beginner (anything below 11 oz.) Stay away from those with a passion. You'll end up having shock travel up your arm because the racquet will twist unnecessarily.
I would recommend the BLX Six One Tour, which is more headlight than either K Six One or NCode Six One, as the closest thing, but it has a smaller head and the same overall weight. The BLX 6.1 95 version is way too light in my opinion. But maybe you could lead it a little.
I personally like Volkl Powerbridge 10 mid or midplus (spin) or Head Youtek Prestige Pro (spin) or Mid.
A fellow racquetballer! Well, I know the NCode 95 and while it is a very good frame, it can feel like a piece of lumber. I would need to know your playing style and what you want the racquet to do. If you want a lighter Wilson, the Pro Tour is definitely that, but it feels springy. If you like the NCode's characteristics, I would say the BLX Blade that will be coming out soon, maybe next month, will be your best bet if you stay with Wilson. I am enjoying the Head Youtek Prestige Mid for a faster, lighter racquet.
