Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):: Looking to get my game whipped back into shape. Played tennis for 20 straight years 4 to 5 times a week until I moved to Athens. Its been tough finding regulars to hit with and living in Baltimore part-time for last 2 years hasn't help, either!

Started in High School, joined ALTA at C-9 in college. Worked my way up to AA-3 where we got soundly trounced as a team after nearly winning A-2 Cities. Tried USTA 4.0, but only played one match because of back injury. About a year after moving to Athens, played ALTA A-4 for 3 seasons before taking new job with head quarters in Baltimore. No tennis at all for last 3 years, but have played lots of racquetball and squash, so I presume some form of eye-hand coordination has remained for the main game.

Looking to rediscover my tennis game and get back to playing regularly. I reckon I'm around USTA 3.0 at best these days.

I do go to the NCAA championships when they're hosted at UGA, though. Saw some good matches this year! I am glad to see that a wide variety of styles still flourish at the college level if not at the pro level (as I hear its rumored its pretty much whoever can hit the ball the hardest the most consistently these days).
