"I am 69, retired, and took up tennis a couple of years ago, not rated but probably an advanced beginner, interested in either singles or doubles in the Federal Way, NE Tacoma, Auburn area or anywhere reasonably close.
My work is sending me to Dallas for 2 weeks now. I will get back in touch when I return. I am planning on getting membership at the Y..They have a court there and I can bring guests twice a month so I figured we could play there.
i played in high school and just started playing again (i played one day of tennis, i played against a backboard and worked a little bit on my serve). i think i would rate my game as above average i guess. i just wanna play someone rather than a wall for a change, since i'm pretty new to washington and don't know anyone outside the military that plays tennis.
I live in Graham and Puyallup would work well for me. I think the Y has a court. I am not sure but there is a school around here where we could play. I will try to check on these and get back. How would you rate your game? I used to play when I was in school and havent in a really long time.
Hi Lax! It's great to have you here! Thanks for starting the King and Pierce group. If you need any help, let me know.
This is my *new* generic welcome message that, fortunately, is required due to the enormous growth. We're growing by 100 new members a day, and I just couldn't keep up. But that's a good thing. ;-)
Invite your friends too. We’re trying to reach 20,000 members by Wimbledon. :-)
If you need any help, let me know.
You just joined a super fun and infectious "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
