Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
I played varsity tennis in high school, both singles and doubles, but I haven't spent a lot of time on the court since (I'm 25 now.) I might still be able to give you a run for your money, but I'd love to find some players to help scrape the rust off.
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
Rafael Nadal
Maria Sharapova
Andre Agassi
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
Not bad., Do not know my rating., If tennis is on TV - I am watching.
Hey Kirstin... just checking if you still use this site, we never got to hit locally.... I've actually found more people to hit with through craigslist but wanted to check back. Have a happy 4th, enjoy blues fest if heading down, ttys.... Gabe
Hi Kirstin, how's it going?
Had just logged in to reply to someone in Vancouver, and followed up with Renae in Portland. Just wanted to check with you as well (you are the closest) incase you may free up for some tennis later in the week? I think Wed & Thurs are supposed to be nice, or perhaps Thurs & Fri depending on when the clearing is between the rain. Keep in touch and let me know. Thanks!
hey i saw your comments on gabes wall. I have posted quite a few things about wanting to play on here but still havent. Would you like to get together this coming up week? just hit a little. I am not even sure how i will play because its been quite a while since i have held a racket. But i wanna start getting better! :) please send me a text if that might work for you. I dont check this too often. I hope something works out! Renae

Just wanted to check in with you...
It's a gorgeous day, gonna be 70 degrees - wanna go hit some balls?
Was supposed to hit with another guy later, but his wife had something come up. I see some other peeps but they are in Gresham, NoPo and Beaverton. I don't mind driving but since you are in the neighborhood I thought we could meet at Laurelhurst courts?
Let me know, my # again is 503-891-9175 (not sure when checking email again today). I'm pretty flexible today, just doing projects and catching up on things.
Sounds good Kirstin, you are very close and right next to those courts. I'm flexible so just get back at me with a couple slots when you and mother nature are ready... my # again is 503-891-9175. Thx, Gabe
Still rainy season but let me know in the coming weeks if you want to hit some tennis balls. Haven't logged into the site since early in the month but still want to meet some people that may be ready to play some tennis in April. Let me know.... what part of town where you in again?
Just wanted to follow up and let you know, suppoesd to rain a little through Monday, but looks like Tues-Fri this coming week will be nice, and increasingly warmer, almost 60 degrees on Friday!
I am very flexible at the moment, let me know what day/time may work for you if you still want to go hit some balls. (Laurelhurst?) Best, Gabe
Hey Kirstin, thanks for getting back so fast... not sure if I can play today though it does look pretty dry and kinda nice, only a little breeze. I can try but otherwise maybe tomorrow or on the weekend if we get a nicer dry day - seems like only 1 or 2 days a week have been doable lately. But perhaps if I can get a bunch of stuff done by late afternoon I may free up today. What time were you thinking? Courts have started to get more busy as days get longer/warmer. Hey, I may not log in again today so here's my # - 503-891-9175, also email is gabelempert@gmail.com. I'll check later today, but feel free to call, or u can text me a time that I can shoot for... Thanks.
I'm new to the group and just starting introducing myself to some folks that may be a good fit (local and on a close level playing-wise). I also played varsity in High Schol (singles and doubles too), but for not many years since. Just started getting it going again, but a lot of rust to shake off, and new rackets to break in. Looking forward to the longer days and better weather though, after moving here in 2006 I realized how much you have to savor the late spring/summer/early fall. I also like the same favorite players too... So anyway, I also live in SE, a stone's throw from Laurelhurst Park near Burnside. Let me know if interested in hitting some balls. Thx, Gabe
