Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
I'm quick and ready for hitting groundies and practicing; just trying to improve my timing and get a good work out. My level is 4-4.5, in good shape and have a permit. I’m mostly available to hit in Brooklyn area (Bridgeview Club, Kaiser Park, Marine Park, Manhattan Beach, Prospect Park) courts. Please be RATED 4.0 and above, or know what that means (successful high school experience or equivalent, solid and consistent game).
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
NTRP 4.0, NTRP 4.5, If tennis is on TV - I'm watching.
Central park sounds good. Sorry Julian, but I have no idea about my US rating. I´m an advanced player, used to play interclub competitions. So if you you want to risk to waste your time, I´m looking forward to it :-)
By the way: you lived in Switzerland? Dyou speak German?
I'm a 4.5 player who used to play interclub competitons and other. Used to live in Switzerland, mostly on clay. Been back to my native NY these past few years. Love to run, hit, practice my shots and sweat a ton. It is a game after all - not into serious competition any more. Play 4-5 times a week in Manhattan - Central Park, private court on the UES, near Yankee Stadium and different public courts in Manhattan. Also play doubles in New Jersey on Friday nights (great deal - $40 for 3 hours - one hour of drill, two hours of doubles) Would love to find some other partners - including you. Let me know if you're interested - mitchritt@yahoo.com. Thanks - Mitch.
I just moved to Nyc at the end of last year, and now I am looking to get back to the court. I have not been playing for like 3 months for an injury. I used to play in SF and OC with 5.0 and above players. I am italian, rated 5.0 or more, I have been playing at good levels all my life. Where do you usually play? I just want to get back playing constantly. I am trying to build connections in this city and get back to play since I do not have any tennis contact here! I live in EV but willing to move and play regularly.
Let me know, I am down to play as soon as possible!
Free most of the time. I can't play this week though. Wanna play next week sometime. Wat times are good for you? I live really close by the courts so I can play whenever.
